40x45 mm PVC extruded box profile for thermal subframe
The lower Klima crosspiece is made with an extruded PVC box profile to have more rigidity and impact resistance at the same time. It is designed with internal ribs to the profile to accommodate the fixing screws. The section is divided into 3 chambers to have a more effective thermal break and greater resistance to foot traffic: in fact it is “walkable”.
The profile has a shape that allows you to overlap several pieces in order to increase the thickness of the lower crosspiece when necessary and to build a real thermal break on the French windows: its result in terms of thermal insulation is exceptional.
The section is 40x45 mm while the length of the bars is 300 cm. This cross member must be fixed with the special brackets directly to the sides of the subframe (code KLTRAVP100).
