Magic-Block Security 60 shutter lock assembly instructions
Phase 1
Assembly of the MAGIC-BLOCK bracket (Code Art. 851) at the height of the hinges, in the internal part of the house using the supplied screws (see figure 1) making sure, before fixing the screws, to insert the the chain of the door block is provided with a special stop (see fig. 2).
Phase 2
Fixing of the anti-shock rubber grommet (Code Art. 252W1), by means of the supplied screw, on the flap of the shutter leaf profile; it is recommended in a position of about 10 cm upwards from the position of each hinge (see figure 4).
For fastening, first make a 4 mm diameter hole at a distance of about 8 mm from the base of the profile; then screw the screw into the thickness through the hole until it rests completely on the profile (see figure 3).
These operations can be carried out directly on the construction site.
The anti-shock rubber is used to avoid the impact of the mobile door against the wall.
In the case of a shutter with rounded sash and frame profiles it is necessary to use only the anti-shock rubber grommet (Code Art. 252W1), however, in the case of a shutter with squared sash and frame profiles it is necessary to use in addition to the anti-shock grommet. - the rubber shim is also impacted (code art. 253W2).
It is advisable to fix the anti-shock rubber at about 10 cm from each hinge; therefore, fix 3 shims for the French door and n. 2 for the window.
