Il Fabbro di Modena - Electromagnets in condominiums
Why do
many condominiums in Modena have electromagnets ? In the 60s in Modena there was a blacksmith who wanted to improve the locking of condominium doors. In fact, many condominiums complained of the continuous maintenance costs. One day the blacksmith arrived with a magnet that would solve that annoying problem.
Word of mouth did the rest and to this day Modena retains this primacy, obviously no longer with simple magnets, but with modern and more effective electromagnets.
