Simplicity and design: how does this magnetic handle work?
The Compasso handle marks a significant change. The internal spring is replaced by a magnet to ensure higher performance without losing strength over time. Furthermore Compasso is the first handle in the world with a magnet that can be adjusted from the outside, without disassembling the handle, to restore the perfect perpendicularity of the door in case of failure.
The winning handle of the Green Good Design Award in Chicago
The Compasso Series won the Green Good Design Award 2014, a prize awarded by the Chicago Athenaeum / Museum of Architecture and Design and is promoted by the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The most important examples of sustainable design are rewarded with the aim of making the public aware of companies that operate in respect of the environment.

Tireless creative genius of Italian design, Franco Poli is the author of numerous furnishing and design objects for the home: from Matteograssi armchairs to Mandelli and Valli & Valli handles (available on Windowo). He won four Good Design Award prizes in 2005, 2007, 2011, 2014. In 2008 he was awarded the Honorable Mention of the XXI Compasso d'Oro for Matteograssi's LOOM session.
