Labyrinth Filters - for Stainless Steel Extractor Hoods - Choice of Dimensions
Labyrinth filters made of
AISI 430 stainless steel , they are very light and versatile flat filters, dishwasher safe (we do not recommend the use of aggressive solvents).
AISI 304 stainless steel labyrinth filters are the first line of defense in the suction systems of industrial kitchen hoods and restaurants.
With a top-notch finish, these labyrinth filters are easy to clean and can be washed in the dishwasher or by immersion, ensuring a long service life.
Measurements of Labyrinth Filters for Extractor Hoods
The stainless steel labyrinth filters are available in 4 dimensions (Base x Height):
- Type A: 40x40x2.5cm;
- Type B: 50x40x2.5cm;
- Type C: 40x50x2.5cm;
- Type D: 50x50x2.5cm.
Labyrinth filters for hoods supplied with the hoods in stainless steel and are mounted by support and interlocking.
Operation of labyrinth filters
Mechanical operation : the intake air is forced into the "labyrinth" path inside the filter, where it cools and condenses.
These stainless steel filters operate through the principle of inertial separation, where the contaminants (grease vapours, oil mists) must travel a tortuous path before impacting the filter surface, where they are trapped.
Why use stainless steel hood filters?
Metal filters have low efficiency, however they are used as the first filters to protect the subsequent ones from grease and the heaviest parts of cooking fumes.
Stainless steel labyrinth filters are therefore
the most common and easiest solution to separate the fat component from the contaminants and protect the subsequent filtration sections in the extraction systems of kitchen hoods in restaurants and the food sector.
With the right cleaning, these
grease filters are practically eternal and increase the life of the filter cells, soft pocket filters and activated carbon cylinders.
