What are the instructions for use of the Fischer sealant?
- Clean and degrease the surfaces before applying the product;
- In order to guarantee the absorption of joint movements, the correct proportion between width and depth of the joint must be respected: for joints with a width of ≤10mm, the correct ratio is 1: 1. For joints of width> 10mm the depth should be = width / 3 + 6mm;
- We recommend using the Fischer FG joint bottom to fill the bottom of the joint before proceeding with sealing;
- Apply adhesive tape to the edges of the joint and apply the product to it. Level with a spatula. Remove the tape;
- Fresh adhesive can be removed with PUR500 cleaner, SAL70 wipes or acetone.
