Elastoschaum insulation foam for window frames: insulates against heat, cold, noise
Foam to insulate the window frame from heat, cold, noise: single component polyurethane sound-absorbing , insulating and filling, with high elasticity. Specifically designed to seal the joints in the installation of wooden, PVC and aluminum windows.
Elastoschaum PosaClima is ready to use, it must be used on a manual gun. Elastoschaum is CFC free. Characterized by a very high yield (about 55 liters at 20 °) and by a controlled expansion.
It should be remembered that elastic foams require a greater quantity of humidity for their correct filming than rigid foams to avoid post-swelling phenomena.
Product complies with the requirements of standard 11673-1 cap 6: Basic requirements for sealing, filling and insulation materials.

For sealing the joints when laying external doors and windows, when the following characteristics are required:
- High elasticity to compensate for the movements of the wall and / or frame even in the presence of high thermal expansion;

Advantages of the Elastoschaum PosaClima product for window frames
Elastoschaum adheres to all substrates commonly used in construction (stone, plaster, wood, metal, PVC, polystyrene). Suitable for joints from 5 to 40 mm: for larger joints, work in layers and wet each layer.
Before applying, moisten the support with steamed tap water with a sprayer. To have a regular and optimal expansion, humidify the foam also immediately after extrusion.
Usable from -5 to + 30 °, as long as the cylinder temperature is greater than 10 °. Check that there is no ice on the substrate when working at low temperatures. It is resistant to rain and high temperatures, but must not be exposed to ultraviolet rays. Screw the gun onto the foam bottle and shake at least 20 times horizontally before each application. Instructions for application: apply the foam at the bottom of the joint working from the bottom upwards after having moistened the substrate. It is possible to interrupt the application of the foam at any time by leaving the cylinder inserted on the gun.
ATTENTION: single-component elastic foams are much more sensitive to moisture content than traditional fast foams. Therefore, if you do not wet properly before and after application, there is a risk of POST-SWELLING or LOSS IN VOLUME.
