Ditec Entrematic Zen4 remote control is a remote control for motorized gates
that replaces the previous GOL4 model . The Zen4 remote control has four channels and has the same technical characteristics as the Gol4, but has been updated.
Ditec Entrematic Zen4 is fully compatible with Gol4 programming and uses the same frequency and security coding: 433.92 Mhz with Rolling Code HCS. In addition, the remote comes with a 3-volt lithium battery (CE2032).

The Ditec ZEN4 remote control has been designed with

The remote control works with the previous Ditec/Entrematic Rolling code HCS protocols and uses the same frequency as the previous model, i.e. 433.92 Mhz. Furthermore, the Ditec ZEN4 rolling code is compatible with and replaces all previously produced models, such as the DITEC BIXLP2, DITEC BIXLG4, DITEC BIXL2, DITEC GOL4 and all DITEC models with HCS rolling code technology not listed.

What type of coding does your Zen gate remote control have?

check the type of coding set on the Ditec Zen remote control , hold down the control button for 3-10 seconds until the red LED starts flashing. Next, you need to count the flashes of the LED and compare them with the table provided by the manufacturer.
To be compatible with the Zen4 model, the remote should flash twice and then turn off. This indicates that the key fob is using the correct coding and is ready to be used with the automatic gate opener.
Programming a new Ditec Entrematic Zen remote control using a Ditec BIXLP2 /GOL4 already programmed
If you wish
to program a new Ditec/Entrematic Zen remote control using an already programmed Ditec BIXLP2/GOL4 remote control, carefully follow the instructions below.
First, position yourself near the automation, especially near the receiver or antenna, if present. Next, press the hidden button in the center of the already programmed remote control with a pin (indicated by the red arrows) to turn on the remote control LED. Press and hold the button for 2-5 seconds and then release it.
At this point, take your new Zen remote and press the key you want to program for 2 seconds, then release it. Before using your new remote, wait 10 seconds (time required to exit programming mode).
If the procedure does not work correctly or errors occur during programming, wait 20 seconds and repeat the programming operation starting from the first point.
If the radio receiver has been disabled by the installer and remote programming does not work, you will have to proceed manually on the radio board by opening the control unit box. It is important to note that when accessing live parts, it is always best to seek the assistance of a certified technician.
