Instructions for encoding the Cardin S449 remote control
Here are the
instructions to code the Cardin S449 remote control remotely:
- Make sure you are a few meters away from the automation;
- Find the hidden button (small hole in front) of the remote already in use and press it with something sharp. This should emit a whistle from the automation area;
- Press the button on the already programmed remote control that you want to copy. The automation receiver will emit a short whistle to indicate reception of the signal;
- Take the new remote and press the key you want to program within 5 seconds;
- The automation receiver will give two short beeps to confirm that the new remote has been successfully programmed.
If during the last phase of pressing the new remote control a continuous whistle is heard from the automation, it means that the remote coding procedure cannot be performed. This could be due to the function being disabled by the system maintainer.
