Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol (1843)
"Thank'ee. He knows me", said Scrooge, with his hand already on the dining-room lock." "I‘ll go in here, m)." dear: He turned the handle gently, and sidled his face in, round the door. They were looking at the table (which was spread out in great array); for these young house keepers are always nervous on such points, and like to see that everything is right.

Busiri Collection by Antologhia Colombo Design
Busiri is the name of a painter of the eighteenth century, a period in which the famous "Grand Tour" was made in Italy to see classical architecture and landscapes. Giovanni Battista Busiri used to paint views with Roman ruins and castles. The Busiri handle seems to want to tell us about that period and those landscapes that have given so much to modern art. Wherever you put it, the Busiri handle will be the protagonist of your home, full of grace and nobility with a taste of the past.
Antologhia - The classic of Italian handles
The new handles now offered by the Antologhia brand are the result of a selective search among the models of the past. The aim is to rediscover, in the various periods of style, the exemplary and ever-present value of beauty. The form evokes and returns the sense of a distant civilization of life.
Models of the past recreated with the Colombo style
The production signed Antologhia by Colombo Design takes place in northern Italy at the headquarters of Terno d'Isola, Bergamo.
Occasional porosity, corrosions or wrinkles in this collection, that would usually be treated as defects and therefore waste in a normal production with mechanical moulds, gives it the proper taste of the antique manifacturing process, such as the heart sand casting and the handcrafts works, awarding it with a certificate of autenticity and originality.
