But let's talk about its technical characteristics.
The app
Libra Smart is used together with an app developed by ISEO: Argo . It is an app available for both
iOS smartphones and Android devices and can also be installed on
Apple Watch .
As an administrator , you download it and, in practice, it becomes your "virtual assistant" for access control:
- you can add devices to give access to and delete them;
- you can establish time slots for each device;
- you can view a history of the last 1,000 events.
Guests just need to send an email with instructions to register their smartphone and access the facility. Thus, once they arrive, they will be able to enter independently: they will have to do nothing but bring their device close to the cylinder.
How to recognize a (really) smart lock

The cylinder

compatible with all European cylinder locks . So no, if you were wondering, you don't have to buy a new door; and you don't even have to worry about the wiring (it works with a battery). Just follow these 3 steps:
- activate a system initialization procedure;
- replace the mechanical cylinder with the electronic one;
- enable the various devices for opening (in addition to smartphones and smartwatches, you can use badges or tags , to be purchased separately).
Ah, one last feature of the Libra Smart cylinder concerns its structure:
the external knob is electronic while the internal one is mechanical , so the door opens manually from the inside. You can choose the version with the
Standard internal knob , smaller, or the one with the
Premium internal knob , of the same size as the external knob. As for the
aesthetic factor , you can choose whether to have the black or white cylinder with different finishes for the metal details, which can be chrome, brass or stainless steel.
On which ports can you install Libra Smart? Both on the entrance door (if it gives outwards there is an ad hoc version available on request, IP66 Heavy Duty) and on the doors of the rooms, so you completely eliminate the problem of keys.
