40/10 thick sheet metal plate protected by black cataphoresis.
BS100 and BS100 PLUS : fixing plate for BLINDY SBARRA on external insulation walls with insulation.
In cases where the external coat is present on the external side of the house, it is necessary to mount Blindy Sbarra with this type of plate. Otherwise the bar would go inside the insulation instead of the wall, with a consequent sealing problem.
The fixing plate allows you to anchor on the brick wall and solve the problem.
Each pack contains:
- n ° 1 plate in 4mm thick sheet metal, protected by black cataphoresis, complete with 50mm deep tube (internal Ø 19mm);
- n ° 2 self-tapping screws Ø0.75mm x length 150mm (art. BS100) or 180mm (art. BS100PLUS) for wall mounting (drill a hole of Ø6mm);
- n ° 1 PVC pipe Ø16 x 1,5 of 130mm (to be cut to size obtaining two pieces).
This plate is also applied for triple safety lock in the upper rod wall coupling. Particularly used on shutters and shutters.
Which screw length to choose?
- 2 different articles were created based on the width of the insulation : BS100 for insulation with a thickness of 150mm and BS100PLUS for insulation with a thickness of 190mm;
- We recommend that you measure the distance between the mounted unit and the point where the fixing holes are to be drilled when closed (shutter) closed;
- Based on this measurement, choose the right length plate;
- The plate, 40/10 thick, will provide the same capacity as if the Blindy Bar were anchored directly to the wall.
