Installation of safety film for Reflectiv glass

Before applying the film , it is essential that the surface is completely free from dust, grease or any other substance that could compromise its adhesion. It is important to underline that some materials, for example polycarbonate, can cause the appearance of air bubbles, so it is advisable to carry out a preliminary compatibility test.

Installation tools include: a water sprayer, a scraping tool, a cutter, tape, a putty knife, a float, and paper towels for drying.
 

1. Clean the glass surface carefully;
2. First cut the film to the desired dimensions;
3. Apply two pieces of tape to one corner of the film to make handling easier;
4. Spray the window with water and position the film, holding the adhesive side towards you;
5. Remove the protective film;
6. Abundantly moisten the adhesive side of the film;
7. Turn the film over and apply the adhesive side to the glass surface;
8. Spray the film to facilitate the sliding of the squeegee on the glass;
9. Smooth with the spatula to eliminate air bubbles and excess water;
10. Trim the excess edges using the cutter;
11. Model again on the glass and clean the edges for a perfect finish.
